about this story

According to Ryle, this dualistic view has serious implications for what we can know and not know. Although each person has direct knowledge of his or her mind,it is possible for us to have any direct knowledge of other minds. Each mind is it's own private, personal universe.
Our physical bodies are just the opposite of our minds:our bodies and their movement s are available to everyone, including ourselves. Although our minds are completely private, our bodies and their movements are completely public.
