People with high level of openness are motivated to seek new experiences. They are imaginative, curious, creative, flexible adventurous and open-minded.
I can say that i am an open minded person. I always open up my mind to new ideas and changes on how i view the world. Having an open mind doesn’t mean i will change my beliefs, yes i have an option to, but being open minded means accepting other beliefs, understand what people are going through without judgement.
Being open-minded can be really tough sometimes because you need to look at the world differently, deeply, it can be a bit liberating .
I need to admit that i don’t know everything and i am willing to learn. I also need to be sensitive. I need to consider other people’s feeling before doing something because it might be against their beliefs.
I allow myself to make mistakes. Because when you open your mind you allow yourself to recognise your mistake as a potential. So i am not afraid to have new mistakes because if i fall there is some lesson i can get whenever i stand up.
Being open minded is easy. For others, it can be a challenge because they need to practice and work on it. But to think openly and embrace new ideas will be worth it especially when you know all the benefits you can get from opening your mind
