about this story
It was a gorgeous day. You stepped outside and could feel the burning in your nose from the salt of the sea. As you walk down to the beach you pass beautiful combinations of blue and white. When you get to the beach you feel the sand in between your toes. You feel the cold mist from the ocean on your face. The sun, high in the sky, emulates beauty with every shadow. As you walk back up the street you hear shouts from food vendors, laughs from tourists, and the hum of a beautifully busy marketplace. You pass by a garden bed. You bend down to catch a glimpse of the smell of a freshly bloomed flower. You look at the wall above it, with a gorgeous tile mosaic. You feel the rough ridges and the smooth valleys. It makes you think about the hard work someone put into carving the gorgeous design. The world is full of such beauty it makes you thankful to be in such a gorgeous place.
