about this story

The fish stared at me and seemed to look right through me into my soul. Which was stupid of course it was just a fish. An odd rainbow colored fish with no other like it, but still jus a fish. But it was odd that is just stayed there and watched, they all knew it wasn't dead it was just watching me. I shivered, for some reason animals always looked at me, especially fish which is why I didn't want to come to the aquarium. I huffed and moved on, though I couldn't quite shake the feeling the fish was still watching me.
We where sitting in the car when everything went black for a moment, a moment and then there was a dreamland.
It was beautiful, the sun was setting making the world light pink and orange. It looked like there was a beach just behind the trees and she wanted to touch it, fell the soft grains of sand cushion her bare feet. But then the world went blurry and she was at home everyone looking at her in worry, including a doctor.
"OH sweetie your all right! thank the heavens!" My mother said bursting into tears and hugging me.
I patted my moms back for a moment before responding, "I was only gone for a few minutes." They all stared at her.
The doctor took of his glasses and massaged his forehead before saying, "Sweetie you have been unconscious for two days." My mouth dropped open and I said, "I am going to take a quick walk outside." No one stopped me as I tugged on my shoes and walked out the door. As I walked around I saw a squirrel and it stopped, stared at me, then ran away. I didn't notice the two birds sitting on my roof watching me.
