1) You've arrived. The church is just like it appeared in pictures.
2) As you move closer, the perfect image is cracked and worn after years of age and activity.
3) The building is adorned with reminders that, like the rest of us, it is living in a modern age with modern amenities.
4) This hallowed ground, once home to the principled and pious, is now little more than gift shops and parking lots.
5) Once inside, you settle in for a lecture and a reminder that all of the wiring and paint you lament can't erase this building's proud past.
