about this story
It was a vibrant morning. The air was refreshing and made me want to gulp down more. The giant peach made me feel welcome and at home. As I entered, I could sense the stress and the walls felt like they were gradually getting smaller... or was I imagining this tightness? Was it all in my mind? Am I going crazy? I looked out in the garden-- at mom's creation--that is where she spent her time--that is what she cared about. The back patio showed its age and how it was left to fend for itself, just like me. I dream of getting away from here and experiencing something where possibilities can happen. I pray it will happen soon…
