about this story

This story begins with an outlaw who has a $500 bounty on his head, wanted in 17 states, and has a stash of cash up in canada with an unknown amount of money but its more money than anyone can imagine and no one, not even he knows what to do with it all. He has a reputation of beating anyone he faces in a duel, claiming its because he never draws first. He travels around the country running from the law and killing anyone who gets in his way. He goes by many different names and the only people who do know his name are the ones he kills. Except for one man, Jack Hendricks, one of the best bounty hunters in the country, he is the only one who knows his real name, William Puckett. He and Puckett were once bounty hunting partners unil Puckett decided to move to canada, where his life would change for the worse. After years of searching, Hendricks and Puckett finally meet in the town of Clementine, Montana where they would have one last encounter until one of them were to fall in a duel. They stare each other down, neither one drawing first. Until finally Puckett drew then Hendricks drew. Two gunshots were fired. Puckett, and Hendricks both fell. Puckett had been shot for the first time ever, many believing it was because he drew first. However, hendricks was also shot and fell to the ground. Both had died. The whole country celebrated and created a memorial for Hendricks for he is the one who finally brought the most wanted man in the country to justice.
