As the sun was coming up on the cold fall morning, the street lights were off, and I could hear the traffic outside my window. The cicadas had been singing LOUDLY for the past few days. I was certainly tired of their noise. As I left my apartment for work, I found one. It was stuck to the screen door. I picked it up, noticed it was still moving, and threw it in the air to fly another day.
