about this story

It all started last March, when the world was suddenly "grounded", or as some may call, "quarantined" for the foreseeable future. Thankfully, one family had a boat and were still able to go out, on the water to enjoy a little R&R and fresh air. It was during this break from indoor, isolated reality, that they found their new home in the sticks. They have since sold their old home and camper to live full time in this little house on the Rappahannock complete with fishing, crabbing, and lots dock time. There are farm stands, country stores, and local markets everywhere you look but no Wal Marts or chain stores. Of all the things COVID did take away, however, access to liquor stores was not one of them- so there was another part to this story, but as luck would have it, it must have been forgotten or sensored, but for sure it was a damn good time. Cheers to mandates being lifted and life marching forward once again! I'd like to say no crabs were harmed in the making of this story, but let's be real folks- they were delicious
