We scour the papers looking for new guidance and positivity rates. We shut our doors and windows while simultaneously looking for light at the end of the tunnel. But for others Covid is the least of their concerns.
Some see this image of police and assume justice is being served while others are terrified that their loved ones are at risk simply for existing. One picture sparks a thousand images in each of our heads and, sadly, a million useless social media rants that result in more anger and hurt but not nearly enough action.
So we protest. We live in America. We can do that right? Yes. But at what cost?
For some that cost is everything, but is it worth it? It is worth it if we make it better for the next generation.
With the next generation there is hope.
