Five Card Story: Poaching

My pace, my ability to run,
for miles and miles,
with my cognitive functioning,
were on decline.
My master said;
"Do no worries,
my flying beauty!
I will not let you die."
From my feet's to my tail,
from my colors to my cloths,
from my bottom to my top,
everything is now shining like a firefly in dark.

At first, I temporized,
They were to replace my heart,
with one of a cheetah,
so that, I could be more younger than ever before.

But!
My happiness was for a little while,
Soon,
I was standing in the open-market,
With smelly people all around me.
People admiring;
my body, my cloths,
my chrome finishing,
my shoes, and my eyes.

NO ONE ASKED!
what I wanted.
I never wanted the blood of a cheetah,
In my veins.
I wanted to feel,
the woods,
the sea,
the sky,
and the clouds.
I wanted to race,
the wind
the snow
my brothers and my sisters.

They said,
my new master will take good care of me,
But, here I am, standing alone
Questioning myself, in the concrete prison.
Which they say is a mansion.
Alone, watching the crack in the wall,
thinking if this was the "rebirth",
I wanted.
NO!
It is Poaching
- To my new Landlord.
