about this story

These pictures sums up my quarantine.

Early 2020 when the whole country was forced to lockdown due to the virus. At first it was fine. I thought that everything will eventually go back to normal. I thought it was just a week suspension of classes. Little did I know, it was the last time I would be able to hug my friends. I haven't had the opportunity to hug them as we go off to our separate ways. It was fine.

Or so I thought.

Slowly, it's taking a toll to my mental health. It is like a poison that slowly killing me. I wanna socialize! I wanna talk to my friends! I wanna hug them!

But I couldn't.

I couldn't even go outside and appreciate nature. I was really sad. That being said, I learned to appreciate nature. I learned to love all the things God created. We even had a dog!

I was able to unleash my child-like self during this quarantine. I must say that taking breaks, checking on yourself and allowing yourself to be a child again. That's how I survived this quarantine.

And that, still, is how I am surviving.

No.

I wouldn't call this surviving.

That is how I am living now.
