Five Card Story: Cursed Tea

One day the beautiful princess Looked at her kingdom as it was ruined by her family. She walked around the kingdom looking at the village with worry, as they begged for food and as some seemed to be selling what they have. The princess noticed a little vender selling a beautiful tea set. As she walked up to the vendor she noticed the old lady behind the vendor.
The old lady spoke as she noticed the princess looking at the tea set " I see you have an eye for the tea set, if you would like you may take it" The princess responded to the old lady with a calming tone " oh thank you but please I wouldn't mind paying for it". As the old lady smiled and gave the princess the tea set as the princess gives the gold.
Walking back to the kingdom she opened a teapot and noticed a couple flowers and a note. As she opened the note her eyes widen. A smile grew on her face as she knew what must be done. The princess had returned to the castle as she headed to the kitchen to inform the servants to make the tea flower for everyone as tonight's special drink. The servants followed the princess's orders as she started teaching them the recipe.
Nightfall started to appear as the royal family gather at the table ready to eat, as their people starve and rote. The princess would normal eat in her room instead of joining the family. But tonight was a special night, as she presented herself to the family with a tan dress, wearing her crown. The family was surprised and rejoiced as the princess sat at the end of the long table. Dinner was prepared as everyone talked and ate their meals. The tea was served as they were all full. The princess stood up From her chair, raised the cup, and said " My family let us all drink this tea as a sign of wealth and lavish kingdom!" As They all cheered and started to drink from the cup.
The princess's smile grew as everyone finished their drinks. Everyone refreshed from the tea, dessert was brought to the table. All enjoying their time was the princess excused herself slowly walking away. The royal family started to feel ill as the king started turning into a tree everyone screamed as vines, tree branches, and flowers grew out of their skin. As the time passed the princess walked slowly back opening the door as she saw a large tree with white flowers growing out of them. She smiled as she knew she did was right for the people.
