about this story

Though the form and content of Sigmund Freud's* theories are significantly different from Kant's, his understanding of the self leads to an equivalent dualistic view of the self. Freud isn't a philosopher in the traditional sense, but his ideas on the nature of the self have influenced philosophical thought as well as almost every other area in the humanities and social sciences.
