about this story

"Cities, airplanes, electricity, forests, stone buildings. As humans, we have evolved to make all of these things, or we have just gotten used to having access to all of these things in life. We go through life super fast, not always appreciating the things we use every day. We use city sidewalks to commute to work or go shopping in the local shops, we use airplanes to travel to places that it would take months to walk to, we use electricity to charge our electronics or power our stoves, we have built forests because our previous inventions destroyed the previous ones, we even marvel at the stone buildings that were built long before we were born. But do we ever really appreciate these things?", said the Professor. This past weekend, one of his students told the class about his recent trip back to their university, in which he walked to the airport, flew on the plane, and then proceeded to walk past the electricity farm, through the forest, and then back to his dormitory in the older campus buildings.
