1) It's important that kids get the chance to spend time playing outdoors and exploring nature rather than staying indoors staring at screens.
2) Playing outdoors with other children promotes creativity, good mental health, an appreciation for nature, and good social skills
3) Parents may be fearful about allowing their kids outside because the world can be a scary and dangerous place. It can be dangerous if they end up near a busy road or a bigger city.
4) But while it may be a bit anxiety inducing it can teach kids to be more aware of their environment and to keep themselves safe. In the long run they will be more independent and capable which are traits that will carry into adulthood allowing them more opportunity to take part in enriching life experiences like road tripping or traveling.
5) Exploring nature and the outdoors is important for children because of the many benefits. Doing so will allow them to grow into adults who are capable, independent, responsible, creative, and adventurous.
