about this story
This is a story of a girl. Maybe you know her, maybe you were her, maybe you will raise her. She was gifted. She loved acting, singing, and dancing.
She was told that her passion for performance was a waste of time, and that she should get "a more practical" career.
So now she wakes up every day in her apartment, drinks her coffee, and answers emails before heading into the office for her practical nine to five job.
But somewhere inside, she is still a girl, dressing up and playing pretend. She still lives for the thrill of the theatre.
And as she sits in her third meeting of the day, she wonders what would have been, had she not become trapped by her own choices, had she not have let other's bitterness and regret influence her own life decisions.
