about this story
Some Swedish guys, back in 1996, came to my region, offered helped...wanted some change in a life of young people.
I accepted, as well as several of my colleagues.
I become a Youth worker...founder of today NGO - PRONI Center for Social Education aiming at social reconstruction and improving the quality of life of young people...leading to reconciliation, especially, between young people and communities of Croats and Serbs.
We found a youth centers/clubs as a good model for such journey and non-formal education as a powerful tool. Youth information work as well.
Today, still after 25 years of work, social reconstruction and strengthening of young people is in focus of our work. Today, when the world is changing to fast, in both positive and negative way, we have to be innovative and therefore invest, not only in young people, but us as well.
Therefore, today I'm here.
