Since early childhood he knew that his life purpose was bookbinding. Living in his parents faraway farm he had plenty of time to develop his skills - he started from the most simple materials. Paper for pages, cardboard, thin sheets of wood for the covers.
He got very good at it, but soon he developed a thirst for more creative shapes, designs and materials. So one day the boy took a knife and came to the stable. The horses were just fed and lazy. Their skin was bright and healthy - such leather was only meant to cover a good book. He closed the doors. Found a horse peacefully sleeping in a corner...
He had to sacrifice something to preserve the pages.
