Five Card Story: A wish unfolds

Sally blew the pappus of a dandelion while making a birthday wish. Sally's childhood dream was to own a puppy. Sally caught wind of an auction being held at the local town hall. The main prize at the auction was a scruffy, white and brown puppy looking for a new loving home. Sally was determined to win the auction and take the puppy home. Sally had some tough competition by the name of Dave. Dave and Sally battled hard both bidding like their life depended on it. As the price of the puppy reached the price of $7,250 the bidding slowed down. Both Dave and Sally beg for mercy as the price rapidly increases. Dave could not go over his budget of $7,500 or his wife would be very upset. Therefore, Sally wins the scruffy bundle of joy for the price of $7,600. Sally brings her new puppy named Carla back to her house. The house was not deemed fit to house a puppy like Carla. The house was full of cobwebs and nasty insects. The SPCA caught wind of Carla's new home and was then forcibly removed and sent back to auction.
