about this story

The American obsession with a nine to five is a true testament to corporate greed. Often times corporate jobs swamp their employees with work that can not be completed within the time necessary. This leads to stressed out and pilled on workers. Often said workers resort to drinking to help with their stress, and if the worker has children, it is most likely that the child will feel lonely without the attention of the parent, especially if the child is in its developmental years. The shear amount of work these corporations put on their employees often leads to them taking their work home, which leads to less time with the children and more time working on projects for their company. Stress is also been proven to lead people, especially people with pre-existing medical conditions, to an early grave, leaving their children and everything they worked for behind.
