The sun shone brightly through the leaves in the trees. It was a warm, spring day and I embraced the quiet of the morning as I sipped my coffee. I glance over at the picnic table where a collection of my daughter's treasures sat. Across the yard our family dog chewed her favorite stick. Daffodils were in full bloom and their aroma filled the air. As I took my last sip from my mug, a feather floated daintily to the ground as a mother robin flew from her nest. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, soaking in the beauty of the moment and the beauty of springtime.
