about this story
In a snowy village, there was a house on a hill with a beautiful balcony. Inside lived an old lady named Eliza and her wise cat, Willow. The house had a beautiful set of stairs and a living room with a warm fireplace.
One cold day, Eliza saw kids playing near a frozen river with a little shivering white kitten. She picked up the kitten and brought her home. Willow liked the kitten. They named it Snow. Their favorite game was to chase each other up and down the big flight of stairs.
The three of them became good friends. They often sat on the balcony, looking at the snow and seeing the old dock and the river where they had found Snow.
