about this story

Introduction Pic #1:
The world around us has a profound impact on who we become. Like how baby geese learn from adult geese how to fly, find food, and adapt to their surroundings. We too, start off as vulnerable and the world shapes us by providing experiences and teaching us important skills.

Pic #2
The laws and systems put in place by the government have a significant impact on our behavior, values and opportunities. They shape our understanding of right and wrong, our access to education and our ability to pursue dreams. External influences like capital building help shape our identity.

Pic #3
As we grow we will encounter moments that force us to break out of our shell, just like how an egg has to crack open for new life to emerge. Obstacles we face, shape our character, and build resilience. The world pushes us to transform into the best versions of ourselves.

Pic #4
However some people may feel suffocated by the path laid out for them. They might find it too difficult to navigate through the vast possibilities and opportunities that could lie ahead. They may feel like they are standing on the shore surrounded by a foggy ocean, uncertain of themselves.

Pic #5
Yet the world, through nature, structure and life experiences plays a vital role in shaping our identity. Our encounters, relationships, and personal growth all contribute to the unique beings we become. Just as flowers bloom and flourish under different conditions, we too grow through interactions with the world around us.
