about this story

Old school doorman. Blue Keys. Cemetary. Dog. Flower

My story is about the Black Elite. I believe they were beautiful people. At least, that is who the man represents. Although there was this whole in society, and nobody wanted Black people or the Black Elite to fill it. Many died over the years just so I could have freedom. Although sometimes I don't act like it. I'm a long ranger looking at the possibilities of making significant contributions to society, just like Ida B. Wells. The flower represents all the joy there, but many even pause to recognize it. It's only convenient when someone wants to pick it, put it on their table, and make it their own. That is our culture, the Black culture.
