Song: "Home" by Phillips Phillips.

Similarity: Life. They all capture similar times in our lives, whether venturing down a forlorn street or walking home after a long day.

This story starts with Bridget, the main character, walking past the borders of the forest she lives by. As she travels, she thinks back to the letter she received from her parents. They missed her dearly and were thinking about the rough times she's gone through recently. Why not today? As she made her way through the city, she glanced at a paper advertising free consulting. She stopped briefly to take a tab and set off once more, thinking that she might consider it.

When she arrived at her parents, they greeted her warmly, and invited her inside. They chatted with Bridget about life's events and offered her lunch and some blackberry pie. "Food for thought", mom said. Afterwards, they all relaxed in the back yard. Bridget enjoyed the company, and also the lively colors of her surroundings were soothing.

With the sun waning low in the sky, Bridget bid her farewell to her parents and made the trek home. "Food for thought", she mused to herself as she thought back again to the slip of paper in her pocket. "Maybe it's time I talk to someone", she pondered.
