The canal was a work in progress for a bit of time. Just like hi trench with signs and cones

The Canal went through many landscapes including forests because of it's length. being 363 miles long it was sure to have gone through a forest.

The canal was not very deep nor very wide in today's standards being 4 feet deep and 40 feet wide. That is why the picture shows shallow waters

The benefits of the canal caused many people to come closer together. This benefited New York a lot.

The canal brought many businesses to New York. The picture shows a business that may not be in the best shape but it still shows what I mean.
