On a warm autumn night, there was once a tail of a whisper that could be heard at the dead of night by the ocean that would give whomever was close enough to hear the word uttered would potentially fall victim to what seemed to be an eternal sleep by the shore. Upon entering this seemingly eternal slumber, the ocean would claim it's victim within one whole week and their body would never be seen again. There was a name for the constant, recurring and sudden vanishing of these people by the water, the people of New Hampshire dubbed those individuals lost to the ocean "Gone to The Carless Tide". With all of the folklore around this mysterious ocean being so "deadly" and "enchanted", there was only one way to see if the rumors were really true. "So a bike ride to the beach, last one there owes everyone food!" yelled Nick following his violent peddling to be first in the start of his self exclaimed race. Soon, yet also sadly, the three behind nick had followed behind him in the child's game. Inevitably, their simple competition ended up with their compensation not being food, but instead four tombstones being placed in the New Hampshire cemetery with no bodies to put into the side by side caskets.
