My SETI participation stalled,
The old-school modem line,
Placed on HOLD,
By dear Ma Bell.

My feet propelled me
Towards a WiFi
HOTSPOT,
Moving. Yes.
The Bus.

My Macbook,
Alone, NUTS!!!
Still at home.
Forgotten in my haste.

Found me sitting,
On the bus,
The WiFi useless,
My bus far passage
A wasted seat.

Burn.
