about this story

I always had loved unfrequented paths, solitary mountains, empty prairies, remote forests and lonely beaches, but never had been in a kind of these last ones since then. A seeker of silences was I, and I had left to change the Opera building shark-finned shape for a beach with no footprints except mine. One day, while I was walking along the sea edge, I felt a presence behind me, and I smelt a delicate almond flowers scent. I suddenly turned round just to see a girl, dressed in white, that offered me some chocolate cookies. Totally bewildered, as I had not heard her come at all, I took the cookies she gave me. She smiled. I looked at the cookies in my hands, but there was nothing on them. When I surprised looked up to her, she had disappeared. I felt confused, but I had to think it had been a vision.
Another day, while afternoon slowly turned into evening and I went for a walk in a nearby forest. She was near a burned beehive and was surrounded by some bees, but they didn't sting her. She was silently crying at the dead insects. I stealthily left, but couldn't avoid to look back. She had disappeared again. I returned home, wondering who could have burned the beehive. The next morning, I went to the same place again. There was a beehive there, full of working bees, and not burned at all.
I met her again a lot of times. She never spoke, just appeared and disappeared. I got used of her silent presence. One day, she moved her hand as if she bade me goodbye, and I did the same gesture, before she walked away. Since then, I've never seen her again.
Maybe I dreamed her. Be that as it may, I'm sure about this: I returned to the city and since then, I have been no more a solitary.
