In a galaxy far, far away, where neons ruled the land there lived creatures who glowed in the night. They kept small figurines, images from a distant past which the neons no longer remembered, but only heard about from ancient legends. One night for no apparent reason, because that's the way things were in the land of the neons, a land not ruled by the laws of logic, the neons outglowed themselves. The sparks floated across to another galaxy, the Milky Way. There, they settled on a planet known as Earth where they grew on vines and bushes and trees. Some of the beings on Earth grazed on these little red sparks to cool their thirst and tame their hunger. They named the red sparks berries and that's how raspberries came to earth.
