about this story

I was home and felt kind of hungry and becase I had been working late for the past few days, I didn't have a chance to go to the store, so I decided to pick up Mcdonalds. On my way home I had to follow a diversionsign so ofcourse I followed it. After about 5 miutes I saw this very cosy market and dicided I could't resist the urge to shop for something. Anything. Anything eventually turned out in a bunch of flowers. I drove further home and I could smell the flowers in the car. filling the air with their scent. And I realised that we don't have a lot of nature left in the city. All you can see is a tree every once in a while. And most of the times, it's an old sick or simply ulgy tree. Driving home I started to think about other nature-ralted subjects. I started to think about the rainforrest, global warming and endagered animalspecies. I started thinking about those wonderful gorillas in Afrika and about the poaching that goes on around there. I started to feel a little bit sad. I wish I could do a little something for those animals. so the next day I said to myself:"I can't help a buch of gorillas, but maybe one animal would be a start". So a went to an animalshelther and I got myself a dog. It wasn't a pup, but an adult dog which was appearantly not good taken care of by the family he was with. And at a sertain day the family just bound their dog to a tree and they left him there to fend for himself. Now I'll take good care for him and I'll have helped at least one animal. It may sound stupid and maybe even selfish, but it makes me feel good, useful and helpful.
