Five Card Story: Christmas is not for Everyone

Herbie the dog HATED Christmas.
"Why is this such a big deal?" he moaned as he laid on the couch on Christmas Eve.
"Everyone seemes like they have gone completely crazy!"
Herbie's man owner, Phil, had been so busy buying presents, cutting down a tree and bringing it home and decorating the tree that he had actually become a tree himself!
"All I can see is his face!" Herbie complained, "and that is by far Phil's worst feature!"
Herbie's lady owner, Mary, had been up all night hanging lights on the house and trees outside. She had fallen asleep on the front lawn.
"YAWN!" Herbie couldn't see the big deal.
Then Christmas morning came. Herbie's child owner, Mackenzie woke up with a jump.
"It's Christmas, it's Christmas!" she screamed.
The smile on her face was so big that she nearly cracked her cheeks.
Then all of the big extended family showed up at the door. There were so many people that they couldn't even fit all of the shoes in the house.
Herbie still wasn't convinced until Auntie Jody gave him a squeaky toy.
"Maybe this Christmas thing isn't so bad."
Herbie smiled a big dog smile and finally got off the couch. After all supper was just about ready.
