The quiet morning suddenly turned into a chaotic flurry of excitement! The alarms from the fire station down the block were clanging furiously. All trucks were on their way to a five alarm fire on the other side of town. As a photographer for the local newspaper, I abandoned my freshly poured cup of coffee and headed out the door. I was there for hours snapping shots. There was someone frantically trying to salvage important documents. I followed her to a place where she pinned everything up on a bulletin board. It was such a long, busy day. That evening,I made myself a coffee, my first of the day, and found myself and shady tree in a quiet corner to reflect upon my day!
