Five Card Story: Ribbit: A Frog's Tale

about this story
My name is Ribbit, and I am just a wee little frog but I have led quite the exciting life. I was a teenage frog waiting for the day when I could make the big leap to the city, far from the forest where I had grown up. My parents told me the city was far too dangerous, but I wanted an adventure. Then one day it happened. Two little boys found me and took me home with them to the city. I was so excited and life was full of new experiences. Instead of eating flies, they fed me this red, juicy sweet piece of heaven! I loved it so much that I wanted to roll in it, but when I did that, I got extremely sticky. So, the boys' mother said I needed to wash up. She took me into the strange part of the house and all of a sudden water sprouted from the sky, which caused me to jump from fright. And down the drain I went. As I tried to stay afloat as wave after wave came at me, I thought that my parents' warnings about the city were true. Then, all of a sudden, a large U.S. Navy ship came along and saved me. They returned me to my new family and now I'm experiencing even more tasty pieces of heaven when I eat the family dinner.
