The streams of sun rays filtered through the glass window showering the bedroom in its brilliance.I stretched my arms and lazed in bed.It was the first day of school holidays and mum and dad had went to an oversea business trip to Las Vegas.Today will be the first day of fun and freedom.I could sleep late everyday and laze all I want and there were no more tests and exams to worry about!I peered out of the window and saw a bright yellow bird perching confidently on a branch and after lazing a wee bit longer,I went to prepare my breakfast.
Yummy,own-made breakfast taste really awesome."Ring..."my phone rang and I went to picked up the call."Hello?"Before I could say anything more,a cloth had covered my nose.I wanted to scream but nothing came out from my mouth.And the last thing I knew was that I had fainted.
When I came to,everything was in a total darkness.Using my senses,I managed to find out where I was."Isn't this my bedroom?"I murmured to myself.I tried to on the switch but the power supply had been cut off.Fortunately,the door was not locked and I escaped from there.
I could hear someone muffling and the sound of the rummaging drawers and somebody trying to forced opened the safe in the room next to this.I quickly fished out my 'mobile phone'.Oh,shit!The robbers must have taken away my phone.Tip-toeing,I went down to the living room and called for the police.
Within minutes,the police car's siren could be heard.Upon hearing the siren,the robbers fled.Unfortunately for them,the police had blocked all escape routes.The robbers were handcuffed and brought back to the police station for interrogation.
While the police were taking down my statement,I drank a warm glass of milk to calm down my nerves.
A few weeks later,the robbers were announced to be jailed to three years imprisonment.I was glad that justice was done and I am sure that that incident would be etched in my mind forever and that holiday was the worse I ever had!
