On the first day of class at my new school, I walked into an empty room. I felt very intimidated by the setting, but soon others came in and I made some friends right away. That evening, we went downtown and walked around for a while until we got hungry. We went to a BBQ restaurant where we bought sausages right off the grill. They were delicious. It reminded me of when I was a little boy and my parents would take me to the beach. After playing in the sand, Mom my parents would turn on the BBQ and cook us something delicious for dinner. After I said good night to my friends, I sat on the side walk waiting for the bus and I thought about all my childhood memories and the new ones I was making with my friends from school.
