this story starts in the middle of englnd when a girl named Maria who had just turned 14 is walking downtown.all of a sudden the corner of a store opens up into a beatiful forest path and it feel almost magical.she walks and walks until she comes upon a stone wall in her way with the most familiar design. when she gets close to a the wall and a lizard comes out and spoke!actually spoke to her and said"welcome home my Maria you have come of age to enter our realm".she turns and looks to see the stone walls decorations turning and spinning
