about this story
On the paths along maplebirch the trees keep secrets of the past of the creatures, of the stories they have heard. The clouds listen to the cries of the trees and they're stories. A whisper of a stink beetle tell its adventures of other places. The trees laugh and listen ready to tell the story later in its life. But the 100 year old tree has the best story of all the stories of the mountains and the natives with spears as fast as the wind and the french with they're loud obnoxious. The horrifing screams and cries of the native and the french. Then silents the end of a historical moment.
