After several hours of driving we arrived at our cabin by the lake. The sunset was absolutely beautiful. As the children played on the back verandah, my girlfriend and I took a myriad of pictures. As I was being eaten alive by mossies I took my son inside and we had some quiet time putting a jigsaw together. The next day we headed off to nearby horse riding school. My girlfriend had bought herself some interesting boots to ride in! I couldn't resist taking a photo of them. We had a great time riding around the ranch and it was over all too soon. Back at the cabin we relaxed with a cuppa and quiet conversation.
Ahh for the simple things in life.
