about this story

I was daydreaming about my childhood. I remember playing with tiny toys, walking in the woods in the winter behind the house, my pet rabbit that died when I was 7, and I convinced mom to let me bury him in the backyard near the fountain. I also thought about all the long trips to the cabin in the summer, when the morning air was dew-filled and fresh. Childhood, when I stared at wide-eyed wonder at all of the living world.
