about this story

An adventurous dinosaur is worried about his fellow carnivorous fellows. So he goes to the magic tree where he last saw them. At the tree, he finds cryptic directions to locate them. He realizes something bad has happened to them, so he takes a plant from the tree to heal them. He follows the directions along the mountain ranges: uphill through the deep snow. Until he found his dinosaur friends had been changed into homogenous house pets. Grateful for his foresight, he transforms them back into mindless meat-eaters again.
