In the vision, I saw the young turtle with her head slowly emerging from her shell. A frog was staring bravely into the unknown, yet still clinging to her one source of stability. I asked the young Native American what the meaning of these visions could be. She declared I could stand tall, with my head held high and my feet firmly planted on the earth. Or, I could spread my wings and fly.
