After years of hopes and dreams, my search for the Stone Face Mountain was complete. My grandfather had told me the stories of the beautiful treasures hidden inside the mountain behind the face. Ironically, it had become a tourist attraction. While visiting the the site, I meet a young sailor who was also in search of the same treasure. I enticed him to come away from the mountain and join me for some hiking at the local nature sanctuary. Afterward, we ate delicious pecan pie from a local bakery. Just before he slipped into a post-pie coma,I drew the story of the location of the treasure out of him. As he dozed off to sleep, I ventured to the opposite side of Stone Face Mountain and continued my quest.
