about this story
They stood outside among the grass and trees, the unnatural tile of home forgotten as the sun bled out into night, calling them to play. They had walked for miles to get here, down the never ending road back to their childhood. They were not concious of what had possessed them to journey so far from comfort, and so they simply drifted, like the fallen petals of a once beautiful flower down an infinitely flowing stream
