Five Card Story: The trip to Italy

Our day started off in a cafe. We were served this beautiful and extremely tasty plate of waffles with strawberries, bananas and chocolate sauce. We left the cafe at about half past nine and decided to take a tour around Verona. My favourite stop on the tour was this huge wonderfully decorated Roman Catholic cathedral. In the early afternoon, we decided to take a walk around the city. There were lots of old buildings, but I was surprised at how many new buildings there were. We stopped of at another cafe for lunch. I had a delicious espresso mousse served in a wine glass. We ended the day with a trip to a museum of art. Everything was beautiful. I remember that even the frames on the artwork had been lovingly carved into wonderful shapes that reflected the theme of the painting it had been put on. We were so exhausted by the end of the day tha we just fell into bed with smiles on our faces.
