Jimmy was an ordinary man, who could hardly be noticed in a busy,bustling city. He started his banal day with the usual routine. Like a quiet mouse,he poured himself a glass of ruby red wine and drank it all pondering what his fate would be on this unpredictable day. That was his"liquid breakfast". He then got meticulously dressed and shuffled off to work. He laboured at a law firm. Every morning at precisely 10 am, all the managers and directors,hovering eagles ready to claw their opponents, would hold a morning conference and discuss the job that had to be done that day. After a tiring,depressing day at work, Jimmy decided to go to the neighbourhood amusement park and have some fun. One of the many things that he enjoyed was sitting on a ferris wheel high in the sky and letting the time slip by slowly so that he could enjoy a few minutes of quiet. However, when he got back home, he found out he had forgotten to feed his dog Tessie! That poor little thing looking so pathetic had been in at home all day long without any food or water! He fed Tessie,his constant companion, ate supper and decided to hit the hay. Before he fell asleep, he said to himself,"Good luck in court tomorrow, Jimmy." What a long day he had had!
