about this story

As I walked away, down a long corridor and onto a street with rows of houses. It was dark now and the stars were out but I couldn't catch site of the moon. The night was a like a monochrome painting with a screen of fog blocking my vision. I walked for about two blocks until I saw an old church lined with roses. I stopped to sit on a bench beside orange and yellow roses. I thought of how the world can be both monochrome and colorful at the same time. I thought "Why do people want new things?" I sat there until morning wondering to myself, "If I grow old will people still love me?" I soon walked back, down two blocks and through a long, now bright and beautiful, corridor that led me to my home beneath the tree's.
"I never want to be an old trinket that no one loves. I want to find a way that I can be both old and loved like the church and the roses."
