A girl living in New York traveled to a small town of Gardner for summer break. At only 16 years old, she was lost in the new surroundings. People were rude, and kids her age we\'re all lost souls. She wanted a different experience. She then meets a boy just a bit older then her. He didn\'t have much friends , and was always writing at the park near by her grandmother house. She decided to go over and talk to him. He was what she was looking for in this sad, small town. He opened her eyes to some of the beauty still in or around Gardner. They go on great adventures together.
