My little boy found that leaf one day in the park...I was amazed at the color and wanted a picture. Seconds after I clicked the button, the leaf had fallen to the ground and he had moved onto the play tunnel. I quickly followed after him.
My little girl brought this home from school one day. She was so proud. I kept it on the fridge for months. To this day, I still keep it in the basement.
And this was the day when John and I took her to the mall after school for ice cream. There were birds along the street-people were feeding them. She wouldn't, though. She was terrified of birds when she was little. I wonder if she still is.
...So many years ago. These memories. They hurt.
